The original Emsculpt device, which introduced HIFEM® (High Intensity Focused Electromagnetic) technology into the aesthetic space, was shown to provide an average increase in muscle thickness of 16 percent and a reduction in waist circumference of about 4cm. The introduction of the Emsculpt NEO improves upon these results.1-2 The Emsculpt NEO combines HIFEM with RF, delivering each type of energy via synchronized pulses. A series of four 30-minute treatments with the device has been shown to provide up to a 30 percent reduction in fat and up to a 25 percent increase in muscle.3-5

Treatment of the abdomen is one of the most popular applications of Emsculpt NEO, which can also be applied to the thighs, buttocks, and arms.

Whereas some aesthetic treatments may provide subtle improvements that patients may have difficulty identifying, in our experience, most patients are very happy with the results of abdominal treatment and see visible changes within a few weeks after completing treatment.

A limitation of many energy-based devices, including those that use light energy, is that they cannot be used in certain skin tones. Emsculpt NEO can be used in all skin tones with no risks associated with skin color.

There are also body sculpting devices on the market that are intended for use in patients who have a minimal amount of fat to target. Emsculpt Neo is approved to treat people with body mass indexes (BMIs) of up to 35. That means that a wide range of patients can be treated with the device.

Skincare Physicians of Georgia has had many satisfied patients who presented with a wide range of BMIs at baseline. Some of these patients desired a substantial reduction in bulk, while others were seeking more toning and definition of the abdominal muscles.
