Newmedical Technology, Inc. announced its acquisition of Derma Made®, marking a strategic expansion of its dermatology and aesthetics portfolio, according to a news release from the company.

The transaction will meld Newmedical’s established presence in scar management and post-procedure care with Derma Made’s nationally distributed skincare offerings across dermatology practices and MedSpa settings, the company said. 

According to the company, the acquisition enhances its professional division, anchored by Silagen®, a physician-dispensed scar and bruise care brand, and complements its global consumer-facing scar management product, MyNewGel+®. 

A. Michael Hanna, CEO of Newmedical Technology, Inc., described the acquisition as a milestone in building a “scaled, diversified platform” across dermatology, plastic surgery, and MedSpa environments. The company noted that its commercial infrastructure allows it to integrate Derma Made into existing professional channels while expanding global reach. Damyan Nikolov, CEO of Derma Made, stated that the alignment with Newmedical’s brands creates opportunities to expand into international markets and broaden access among providers.
