Registration is open for the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery (AACS) 2022 Annual Scientific Meeting.

Themed “Immerse in Perfection – Advances in Cosmetic Surgery,”  the continuing education program will take place in-person at the Mandalay Bay Hotel in  Las Vegas, Nevada, on February 3-5, 2022, with an optional full-day Facial Cosmetic Surgery Cadaver Course offered on February 2, 2022.

“Our theme, ‘Immerse in Perfection,’ says it all,” notes Dr. J. Kevin Duplechain, ASM Chair, in a news release. “Experts, leaders, and industry will all meet to experience three days of perfection centered on cosmetic surgery.”

The 2022 AACS Annual Scientific Meeting offers 28 educational sessions that include keynote presentations, didactic sessions and panel discussions geared for cosmetic surgeons and allied health professionals.

A wide array of topics will be covered, including in part: face lift, breast, rhinoplasty, liposuction surgery, body contouring, skin rejuvenation and hair restoration, best devices for skin and body treatments, and a male/female genitourinary specialty session. Panel discussions on complications and high-impact sessions on aesthetic medicine topics will also be offered, as well as    practice management and risk management for malpractice prevention. Attendees can take part in several master sessions plus specialized sessions for allied health, new surgeons, and residents Forum, along with various social and networking opportunities.

“Our Scientific Meeting provides an education theme that resonates with our members as we all strive to advance our skills in meeting the patients’ cosmetic expectations—particularly now, after two years of Zoom, other virtual platforms and ever-expanding social media activity,” says Dr. Mark Mandell-Brown, AACS President.

Dr. Alex W. Sobel, ASM Co-chair, adds, “Patients deserve safe, educated, trained, ethical, and compassionate care, which is why the AACS exists. The AACS ASM, this year especially, is our society's celebration of our collective drive to serve the public, our colleagues, and our beloved profession, historically, now, and always with the charge of cosmetic surgery patient safety.”
