Nordic Pharma Welcomes John P. Fezza, MD, to Medical Advisory Board

Nordic Pharma, Inc., has announced the appointment of renowned oculoplastic surgeon Dr. John P. Fezza, MD, to its U.S. Medical Advisory Board (MAB), according to a press release. 

The appointment comes as Nordic Pharma prepares to introduce LACRIFILL® Canalicular Gel, a groundbreaking therapy for Dry Eye Disease. This FDA-cleared gel, formulated from cross-linked hyaluronic acid, aims to temporarily block tear drainage by occluding the canalicular system.

Nordic Pharma's Medical Advisory Board, comprised of leading eye care professionals from various specialties and geographic regions, said that Dr. Fezza's addition is expected to provide historical and unique insights that will contribute to the successful launch of LACRIFILL Canalicular Gel later this year. Dr. Fezza will join other members, including Dr. Eric Donnenfeld, Dr. Richard Lindstrom, Dr. Vance Thompson, Dr. Preeya Gupta, Dr. Paul Karpecki, Dr. Lisa Nijm, and Dr. Selina McGee.
