New Serum Targets Menopausal Skin Changes with Plant-Based Technology

In recognition of Menopause Awareness Month, skinbetter science® announced the release of Mystro Revive Renewing Serum, a new topical product aimed at addressing visible skin changes associated with perimenopause and menopause.
The serum is formulated with the company’s proprietary P.A.T.H. [13] biotechnology, a blend of 13 plant-derived adaptogens, and is intended to counteract hormonal effects on the skin such as dryness, dullness, reduced elasticity, and fine lines.
According to the American Academy of Dermatology, women lose about 30% of their skin’s collagen in the first 5 years of menopause. A separate survey by Newson Health reported that 60% of perimenopausal and menopausal women change their skincare regimen during this life stage.
"While menopause affects every woman, skincare solutions designed specifically for this life stage remain limited. We've transformed our existing technology in the Mystro portfolio to include 4 additional plant adaptogens targeting homeostasis to address the needs of skin affected by perimenopause and menopause," said Geneviève Bibeau, General Manager of skinbetter science USA. "The launch of Mystro Revive Renewing Serum brings a clinically demonstrated solution to address skin changes during hormonal fluctuations."
The product was evaluated in a 16-week, multicenter clinical trial, with results showing up to 53% improvement in skin texture and 60% improvement in hydration. In posttrial surveys, 92% of participants reported skin appeared rejuvenated and felt soothed.
Mystro Revive Renewing Serum is available exclusively through authorized providers and the company’s website beginning October 7.
