As of March 8, 2021, AACS and CSF transitioned to a new management firm, TREX & Medical Society Management, Inc. (TREX-MSM), a premier boutique association management company primarily working with national and international non- profit medical associations.

“As AACS and CSF embark on an exciting next phase of growth and evolution as the leading organization dedicated to excellence in cosmetic surgery and aesthetic medicine, we are delighted to welcome TREX-MSM aboard as our management team,” says AACS President Mark Mandell-Brown, in a news release.  “They have an outstanding track record of managing medical specialty associations, and together, we envision great outcomes.”

AACS and CSF CEO/Executive Director Victoria Ceh notes, “TREX-MSM is committed to continuing the great work done by AACS and CSF. It is a privilege to join the team, and we will build on the organizations’ positive momentum of providing education, professional development, and advocacy to advance the multi-specialty, global discipline of cosmetic surgery and aesthetic medicine. We look forward to working with AACS and CSF leadership and the entire membership as we continue to drive future success.”

Strategic priorities for AACS’s fiscal year 2021 encompass four key focal areas: Education; Engagement; Expansion, and Advocacy. AACS recently held a hugely successful Annual Scientific Meeting, virtually presented (live and on-demand) from February 3-March 8, 2021. The AACS 2022 Annual Scientific Meeting will take place in person on February 3-5, 2022 in Las Vegas.

CSF’s strategic priorities for fiscal year 2021 include: Research, Scholarship and Service.

The work of the CSF is to help fund mission-centric programs related to research grants, scholarships, patient safety and service. Recently, a CSF event raised funds for an educational product called QMPTotal for all current AACS training fellows. The AACS has a robust Certified Cosmetic Surgery Fellowship Program. A CSF Industry Advisory Council, including representatives from several companies, and the Webster Society, a donor circle that helps funds cosmetic surgery research, educational programming and training initiatives support the Foundation’s efforts.
