Alma North America has announced details for Alma Academy 2026, an expanded version of its educational event that will combine clinical aesthetics education with business strategy, beauty media, digital culture, and networking.

The 4-day event is scheduled for October 15-18, 2026, at the JW Marriott Las Vegas Resort & Spa. Registration is available exclusively to members of the Alma North America network in the United States and Canada.

“Every year, physicians and aesthetic practitioners choose to invest several days with us, and we want every one of those days to feel worthy of that investment,” said Sheldon Larson, Vice President, Marketing at Alma North America. “This year, we’re taking Alma Academy beyond the traditional aesthetics echo chamber and opening the experience to the people and perspectives shaping beauty, media, social platforms and culture. From the clinical leaders advancing our industry to the editors, cultural voices and personalities taking our stages, every part of the experience has been intentionally brought together with one purpose: to create something people can only experience at Alma Academy. That is the standard we’re setting for what Alma Academy can be, and we’re only getting started.”

Clinical Education Meets Aesthetic and Business Strategy

A multidisciplinary faculty of physicians and aesthetic practitioners will lead programming on clinical best practices, emerging technologies, individualized treatment planning, aesthetic techniques, patient acquisition, digital marketing, and practice development. Faculty include Tess Mauricio, MD; Howard Sobel, MD; Lady Dy, MD; Todd Hobgood, MD; Jeffrey J. Hsu, MD; Carolyn DeLucia, MD; and other physicians and aesthetic professionals.

Bumjun Ko, MD, of South Korea, will discuss K-Beauty philosophy and treatment techniques influencing international aesthetic trends. His presentation will include a discussion and live demonstration of TitaniumLift, a treatment originating in South Korea that Alma said is gaining momentum in North America.

Programming will also incorporate perspectives from beauty editors and digital-media professionals, including representatives from Harper’s BAZAAR, Marie Claire, Oprah Daily, NEWBEAUTY, and TikTok. Gloss Angeles co-hosts Kirbie Johnson and Sara Tan will participate in a keynote interview examining trends, digital behaviors, and cultural developments affecting beauty and aesthetics.

“Alma Academy brings together an extraordinary community of physicians and aesthetic practitioners, many of whom have grown alongside Alma North America for years,” said Spencer Detter, president of Alma North America.

Evening programming will include The Almies Awards Gala on October 16, hosted by Mario Lopez, and Alma Y2K Live on October 17, featuring performances by MIMS, Baby Bash, Ying Yang Twins, and Fat Joe.
