Allergan Aesthetics Appoints Inaugural AMI Training Center Faculty
Allergan Aesthetics, an AbbVie company, has introduced the first faculty cohort for its new Allergan Medical Institute® (AMI) Training Centers in Orange County, CA, and Atlanta, GA. The new AMI Training Center Faculty will lead immersive educational programs designed to train and support the next generation of aesthetic injectors.
"We are able to truly elevate the aesthetics education experience through our incredible partners who bring a focus on real-world practice insights and clinical differentiation of the Allergan Aesthetics portfolio to every training engagement," said Matt Williams, Vice President, Allergan Medical Institute. "With nearly 500 best-in-class faculty driving our efforts, AMI offers a comprehensive training continuum that meets trainees wherever they are in their educational journey. This would not be possible without the unparallelled faculty expertise delivered through our training centers, large-scale programs, in providers' clinics and through AMI Online education modules."
Modern Aesthetics chief medical editor, Dr. Saami Khalifian, was appointed Medical Director of the US AMI Training Centers. The faculty comprises 38 experienced educators selected for their clinical expertise, instructional skill, and commitment to advancing safe and effective aesthetic practices. The faculty will support AMI Immersive Programs including Foundational Injectables, Evolving Injectables, Patient Safety and Advocacy, and Interactive Anatomy. They will also continue to contribute to broader AMI educational efforts in clinical settings and online.
Each center will feature a dedicated Allergan Aesthetics Clinical Education Team focused on foundational principles aligned with product and practice standards. Faculty members will enhance this instruction with in-practice expertise and guidance through hands-on training.
