Galderma Establishes new US Headquarters in Florida to Strengthen Regional Leadership

Galderma announced Tuesday the company is establishing a new US headquarters in Miami, Florida. The new location aims to position Galderma at the heart of a thriving market for Dermatological Skincare and Injectable Aesthetics. 

The headquarter will be in the Brickell neighborhood and the company expects to have approximately 150 employees, including US leadership roles, based in Miami by 2028. 

“Miami’s creativity, energy, and forward-thinking spirit are consistent with Galderma’s ambitions,” said Galderma CEO Flemming Ornskov, MD, MPH. “The city’s emergence as a premium destination and a trend-setter in areas closely aligned to our activities, as well as its fast-growing healthcare professional community, makes Miami a natural choice for our US headquarters. Being in Miami will enrich our business with top talent that will prove invaluable to our future success.” 

Galderma also announced the appointment of Heather Wallace as President of Galderma US. She will be based in Miami and the company said she is a “proven senior business leader with deep expertise in dermatology and consumer health.” Previously, Wallace led high-performing teams as Chief Executive Officer of Curology, and President of the Americas region for Revlon.

A press release explained the Miami metro area boasts one of the highest concentrations of medical spas and dermatological aesthetic clinics in the country. Aesthetic procedures are growing at an estimated 30% rate year-over-year, adding Florida is a hub for innovation in health and advanced medical technologies. 

In addition to the new headquarters in Miami, Galderma will maintain a strong presence across several US locations and Boston will continue to be the hub for the company’s US Therapeutic Dermatology business and US Research and Development organization. Carlsbad, California will continue as a hub for Alastin. Dallas, Texas will continue to serve as one of Galderma’s key US sites while the company’s North America distribution center stay in Fort Worth, Texas.
