Chic MD Announces New Mobile App

Chic MD, an online platform for estheticians and injectors, announced the upcoming launch this month of a mobile app designed to bring its sales and educational resources directly to users' fingertips.

“The app aims to revolutionize the way professionals in the beauty industry learn and grow on the go,” the company said in a press release.

Founded by Helen Coquin, a licensed medical aesthetician and med-spa owner with more than a decade of experience, Chic MD was created with solo estheticians in mind. The platform aims to help skincare professionals learn and earn more by removing industry barriers that have historically limited access to quality products and continued education.

“At Chic MD, we understand the unique challenges of solo estheticians because we’ve lived them,” Coquin said. “Our mission is to empower estheticians-turned-entrepreneurs by providing them with top-tier products and essential business tools that aren’t traditionally taught in esthetician school.”

For $249 annually, Chic MD members gain access to a suite of resources, including a sales channel offering medical-grade skincare products, commissions on sales, and no inventory stocking or minimum order requirements. Members also receive on-demand educational content, covering ingredient knowledge, sales training, and business courses delivered through podcast-style expert interviews, short videos, and coaching sessions led by Coquin and her team of skincare professionals.

In announcing the new mobile app, the company said it understands the unique challenges faced by solo entrepreneurs, many of whom work non-traditional schedules, with limited downtime between appointments or while juggling administrative tasks. The app offers an opportunity for these professionals to maximize every moment—whether learning about a new product’s ingredients or catching up on podcast-style expert interviews and virtual business coaching videos.

With over 100 educational assets already available, the app’s content focuses on both product knowledge and business development. Chic MD’s goal is to provide on-demand coaching and insights that help estheticians elevate their practices and boost sales.

The Chic MD app will be available to both Android and iOS users and requires a Chic MD membership. Current members will gain access to a wealth of educational resources, including ingredient sheets and business coaching videos on topics like marketing, financial management, membership models, sales strategies, and more. The app is designed to make learning more convenient and accessible, furthering Chic MD’s mission to provide personalized support and practical solutions to the solo esthetician community.
