Anew mobile network, BEVL, connects medical aesthetics professionals. In private beta testing since June, BEVL is now accessible via iOS, Android and the web. Physicians and professionals across the medical aesthetics industry to message, ask questions, contribute what they are learning and share practical ideas for improving both the business and clinical sides of aesthetic practice. Early member profiles include Jason Bloom, MD, a facial plastic surgeon in Ardmore, PA, Washington, DC dermatologists Terrence Keaney, MD and Cheryl Burgess, MD, and Beverly Hills dermatologic surgeon Jason Emer, MD.

Members can private message each other as well as organize smaller, private groups of members in one dedicated network outside the noise of other social channels.

“We created BEVL to connect aesthetic doctors, their staff, and industry professionals to navigate latest trends, techniques, and topics together. We're building the largest collection of practical ideas, stories and relationships between peers across medical aesthetics as a way for each of us to make better, more well-informed decisions across every aspect of our practices,” explains Andriana Shea, co-founder of BEVL, in a news release.

Heideas on Education: Think Globally, Act Locally

As the level of collegiality among the core specialties grows, so do opportunities for learning. Each specialty has its one unique perspective and experience that can benefit the other cores. Whether it's device-based rejuvenation, injectable HA fillers and neurotoxins, or surgical techniques, Heidi Waldorf, MD says there is always an opportunity to exchange ideas.

New Look Now Launches Aesthetic Treatment Visualizer Platform

New Look Now, LLC introduced a new Aesthetic Treatment Visualizer Platform that may help you turn more visitors to your website into new customers.

New Look Now allows users to simulate all cosmetic surgical and nonsurgical treatments with or without clothes. Users can select treatment options, upload a current photo of themselves, enter contact information, and receive by email a digitally created before-and-after photo within 24 hours. New Look Now tested its visualizer platform through three sales distribution channels to prepare for this nationwide launch:

  • A white label program lets industry manufacturers license its platform, as shown in Ultherapy's Simulate Your Selfie. Merz Pharma and Neograft are on board, the company states.
  • A Patient conversion and retention program helps physicians acquire patients and increase treatment volumes. CosmetiCare's “Want to See your New Look Now?” popup is an example.
  • Consumer acquisition program campaigns are also underway in designated target markets.

New Look Now is the only simulation tool endorsed by the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.
