Weddings are the number one special event cited by women as a deciding factor in undergoing an aesthetic procedure, according to a new study by the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (AAFPRS). Temporary fillers and injectables are favorites for big events, with the most popular areas for injections being the forehead (42 percent), cheek (35 percent) and lips (18 percent). The most requested pre-wedding non-surgical fixes in 2012 were botulinum toxins (88 percent), hyaluronic acid (75 percent), and chemical peels (25 percent).Next Story
