Dee Anna Glaser, MD says there is a growing number of men being treated with botulinum toxins. When treating men, however, Dr. Glaser cautions that is important to remember that men still want to look like men. “And so you don’t want to over inject, you don’t want to feminize their brows, you really do want to improve their appearance but keep them looking like men,” she explains. “Some times they need the same doses as your average female patient and sometimes they need a little more or sometimes they need a little less.
